After Hitler's seizure of power in 1933, the Reichsverband für die Deutsche Hundewesen (RDH) was established as a "unitary organization" and the DKH, Delegierten-Commission and Verband von Vereinen zur Prüfung von Gebrauchshunden zur Jagd were incorporated into these.

After the dissolution of the RH, ordered by the Allies, on 1 January 1946[3] was his board member Franz Bazille (1933 Reichsausstellungswart in the RDH) involved in the founding of the VDH on 11 June 1949.
