Vidya Vindu Singh (born 2 July 1945) is an Indian author in Hindi and Awadhi languages.

She is best known for her broad work in folk and children's literature.

[1] Singh has been awarded Padma Shri in 2022 by the Government of India for her contributions in the field of literature & education.

[2] Born in the Jaitpur village of Faizabad district in Uttar Pradesh, Vidya is the daughter of Devanarayan and Pranadevi Singh.

[4] She has published more than hundred works which include collections of poems, stories and Awadhi folk songs.
