Vijay Kanakamedala is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works primarily in Telugu cinema.

He made his directorial debut with the film Naandhi,[1][2][3][4] which became commercial success, grossing over ₹9.5 crore at the box office.

Later he worked as a assistant director for Harish Shankar in the films Mirapakay, Gabbar Singh and DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham.
