Visa policy of Madagascar

Citizens of any country (except Burundi)[1] may obtain a visa on arrival.

For a stay of up to 30 days, a visa is sufficient, which is issued upon arrival at the international airport of Antananarivo-Ivato, but also at all other airports with international connections (Nosy Be, Antsiranana, Toamasina, Tuléar, etc.).

Most non-resident visitors arriving to Madagascar were from the following countries of nationality:[4] 1 British Overseas Territories.

2 These countries span the conventional boundary between Europe and Asia.

2 Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Russia and the partially recognised republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia each span the conventional boundary between Europe and Asia.
