Visa policy of Oman

Member State of the Arab League Visitors to Oman must obtain a visa prior to travel unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries.

[1] In an effort to bolster the tourism sector, citizens from 103 countries are allowed to enter the sultanate for up to 14 days without securing a prior visa.

Visa exemption agreements for holders of diplomatic, special and official passports were signed with Uzbekistan in June 2024 and Suriname in September 2024 and they are yet to be ratified.

[12][13] Citizens of the following countries and territories, may obtain a single or multiple entry e-Visa valid for 30 days online.

2 Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Russia and the partially recognised republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia each span the conventional boundary between Europe and Asia.
