Visa policy of Rwanda

The Republic of Rwanda, a member of the East African Community, allows citizens of all countries that are not visa-exempt to obtain a visa on arrival.

[6][7] In addition, citizens of China holding passports endorsed "for public affairs" do not need a visa for a maximum stay of 90 days.

[8] In September 2024, Rwanda signed mutual visa waiver agreements with the Dominican Republic, Dominica and the Bahamas which are yet to be ratified.

[13] Citizens of countries that are not visa-exempt may also obtain a visa online or at a Rwandan diplomatic mission, if they prefer.

2 Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Russia and the partially recognised republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia each span the conventional boundary between Europe and Asia.
