Vladimir Gusinsky

He founded the Media-Most holding company that included the NTV[1] free-to-air channel, the newspaper Segodnya, and a number of magazines.

In 1969, Gusinsky enrolled in Gubkin Institute of Oil and Gas, however, he did not finish his education there.
