Volga Township is a township in Clayton County, Iowa, United States.
Volga Township was named from the Volga River (Iowa), which in turn was named after the Volga River in Russia.
[1] Volga Township covers an area of 39.03 square miles (101.1 km2) and contains two incorporated settlements: Elkport and Garber.
According to the USGS, it contains ten cemeteries: Blanchaine, Communia, Eberhard, Hartshey, Immanuel Lutheran, Krumm, Musfeldt, Old Garber, Saint Michaels and Wolf.
