Volokonovka (Russian: Волоко́новка) is a town in Belgorod Oblast, Russia.

It is the administrative center of Volokonovsky District.

[6] The town is located on the left bank of the river Oskol (Don basin), 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Novy Oskol.

Status of urban-type settlements was granted since 1961.

On June 25, 2011, a monument to Grigory Volkonsky [ru], the founder of the settlement, was unveiled.
