Vysočany (Blansko District)

Vysočany is a municipality in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

Vysočany consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] Vysočany is located about 13 kilometres (8 mi) northeast of Blansko and 28 km (17 mi) northeast of Brno.

The highest point is the hill Havlenka at 636 m (2,087 ft) above sea level.

In the first half of the 18th century, Housko was re-established by Karel Ludvík Count of Roggendorf.

The only protected cultural monument in the municipality is a stone cross dating from 1806, located in the centre of Housko.
