Wörth an der Donau (German pronunciation: [vœʁt] ⓘ; Northern Bavarian: Wiard) is a town in the district of Regensburg, in Bavaria, Germany.

It is situated on the left bank of the Danube, 22 km east of Regensburg.

First mention of a mayor: Ulrich Vorstl (1482) Official First Mayor Anton Rothfischer (ÜWG) was elected mayor for the first time in the 2002 election.

In March 2020 Josef Schütz (CSU) was elected mayor.
