W. P. Finney

William Porter Finney[2] (April 14, 1871 – March 6, 1954) was an American college football player and coach.

[3][4][5] Finney also coached Kentucky State College—now known as the University of Kentucky—in 1894, tallying a mark of 5–1.

Finney attended Purdue University, where he played on the football team from 1890 to 1893.

[7] Finney later relocated to California, where he was employed as a railway engineer.
