The 1992 show was held in June, however, as the company elected instead to reserve July for its flagship summertime extravaganza, The Great American Bash.

Bash at the Beach marked three major turning points during Hulk Hogan's career.

To promote the 1995 event, Hogan, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Big Van Vader, and Kevin Sullivan guest starred on season 6 episode 15 of Baywatch, also titled "Bash at the Beach".

However, in 2014, all of WCW's Bash at the Beach pay-per-views were made available on the WWE Network streaming service.
