The station is owned by Jonathan Christian Corp. WKUL airs a full-service country music format[1] plus some talk radio programming, most notably Rush Limbaugh.

Ron Mosley Jr in 2022 was named Small Market Country Program/Music Director of the Year https://newmusicawards.com/2022-winners/ and WKUL was nominated Small Market Radio Station of the Year in 2012,2015,2016,2019,(Winner)2020,2021,2024 Originally known as WKLN, this station signed on in September 1967 at 92.1 MHz with 3,000 watts of effective radiated power under the ownership of Kenneth E.
