Walterswil is a municipality in the district of Olten in the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland.
Walterswil has an area, as of 2009[update], of 4.48 square kilometers (1.73 sq mi).

[7] Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (621 or 98.3%), with French being second most common (2 or 0.3%) and English being third (2 or 0.3%).

In the federal election, a total of 229 votes were cast, and the voter turnout was 41.4%.

[7] From the 2000 census[update], 241 or 38.1% were Roman Catholic, while 262 or 41.5% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.
