Warming Up (1928 film)

Warming Up is a 1928 synchronized sound American baseball film starring Richard Dix and Jean Arthur, directed by Fred C. Newmeyer, and released by Paramount Pictures.

The film's soundtrack was dubbed onto the sound-on-disc format for those theatres that lacked equipment needed to be the sound-on-film process.

Unfortunately, he incurs the enmity of McRae, the league's leading home-run hitter.

In addition, Bert falls for the team owner's daughter Mary, who McRae has designs on.

The film featured a theme song entitled "Out of the Dawn" which was composed by Walter Donaldson.
