The track was constructed on a floodplain on the west bank of the River Avon on the south-east side of Millbank Park.
There were large drains on the south side of the stadium near Rock Mill Weir to help combat flooding.
Built in 1927 Warwick is believed to be one of the first flapping tracks to be constructed but did not trade continuously until 2007.
[2] There was a public house located on the other side of the Emscote Road called The Greyhound.
The racing ended in 2007 but is believed to have resumed for a short time at a later date before closing permanently.
