Waynesburg, Ohio

Waynesburg is a village in southern Stark County, Ohio, United States.

[3] A post office called Waynesburgh was established in 1824, and the name was changed to Waynesburg in 1893.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.52 square miles (1.35 km2), all land.

[6] Waynesburg lies at the intersection of Ohio State Routes 43 and 183 with SR 171 also present.

28.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

Students attend the Sandy Valley Local School District.
