Wedgefield, Florida

Wedgefield is a census-designated place and an unincorporated area in Orange County, Florida, United States.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 60.9 km2 (23.5 mi2), of which 60.7 km2 (23.4 mi2) is land and 0.2 km2 (0.1 mi2) (0.34%) is water.

The other major road is Dallas Boulevard, formerly SR 13, which used to link to East Colonial Drive but has not for decades since a portion north of Wedgefield was demolished and sodded over.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 2,700 people, 956 households, and 790 families residing in the CDP.

11.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
