Built 1922–26 by the local Masonic Lodge, the build has been a major community center for many years, and has hosted its town meetings since 1925.
It is a large two-story rectangular wood-frame structure, with a front-gable roof, shingle and clapboard siding, and a cement foundation.
The first floor of the main (north-facing) facade is five bays wide, with a center entrance and two sash windows on either side.
The center three bays are sheltered by a gable-roofed portico, supported by square posts, with a handicap access ramp leading down to the left.
To the left of the entrance stairs rise to the second floor, while there is a ticket booth and a small kitchen area (accessible only from the hall) to the right.
