West Hanningfield

West Hanningfield is a small village and civil parish[1] in south Essex, England.

It is located approximately 5 mi (8.0 km) south-south-east of the county town of Chelmsford.

It is the home of Lord Hanningfield, the disgraced Tory peer and former Conservative leader of Essex County Council.

The bells were cast in 1676 and are a rare example of a complete 17th-century ring, although not operable for some time.
