West Perrine, Florida

West Perrine is a census-designated place (CDP) in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States.

The name derives from a land grant issued to the heirs of Henry Perrine, an agriculturist (among other things).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.7 km2), all of it land.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 10,602 people, 2,774 households, and 2,131 families residing in the CDP.

[10] As of the 2010 United States census, there were 9,460 people, 2,843 households, and 2,014 families residing in the CDP.

As of 2000, speakers of English as a first language accounted for 79.75% of residents, while Spanish made up 17.78%, and French Creole was the mother tongue of 2.46% of the population.
