As of the 2000 United States Census, there were 147 people, 55 households, and 38 families residing in the township.

There were 55 households, out of which 32.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.8% were married couples living together, 3.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.9% were non-families.

27.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 20.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were 6.9% of families and 7.9% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 6.3% of those over 64.
