Western Australia women's cricket team

[1] Western Australia joined the Australian Women's Cricket Championships for the 1936–37 tournament.

[7] Their best finish in the Australian Women's Twenty20 Cup was runners-up in 2012–13, when they lost the final to New South Wales by 5 wickets.

Outside Perth, they have played sporadic matches in other locations including Geraldton, Crawley, Fremantle and Baldivis.

[10][11][12][13][14] After the inception of the WNCL in 1996, Western Australia began playing regular matches at the WACA Ground.

They have also continued to use other grounds, most regularly Murdoch University West Oval in Perth.
