Westlands Constituency

The entire constituency is located within Nairobi City County and has an area of 72.4 km2 (28.0 sq mi).

[2] Westlands constituency contains some of the high income suburb[3] areas such as Runda, LakeView, Muthaiga, Kitisuru and Highridge.

Slum areas like Kangemi, Githogoro, DeepSea, Mji Wa Huruma, Kaptagat, Kibagare, Maasai and Suswa are also located within the constituency.

[4] The Sub-county shares the same boundaries with what was Westlands Division of Nairobi and constituency prior to 2013.

Some areas that are electorally placed under Dagoretti North Constituency such as: Kilimani, Lavington, Muthangari, Maziwa and Kileleshwa, form part of the sub-county.
