Klinger Lake is located in the northeast of the township, north of US-12.

Nearby, the unincorporated community of Klingers straddles the eastern boundary of the township.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 3,847 people, 1,505 households, and 1,071 families residing in the township.

There were 1,845 housing units at an average density of 72.2 per square mile (27.9/km2).
