White Rock, South Dakota

White Rock is a town in Roberts County, South Dakota, United States, along the Bois de Sioux River.

A post office called White Rock was established in 1885, and remained in operation until 1965.

[6] The namesake boulder was destroyed and a grain elevator was built at the spot.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.57 square miles (4.07 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the town was 33.3% White, 33.3% Native American, and 33.3% from other races.

There were no families and 100.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.
