Wilfrid Belcher

Wilfrid Bernard Belcher MC,[1] (25 July 1891 – 28 January 1963)[2] was an Anglican bishop in the mid 20th century.

[3] Belcher was educated at King's School, Bruton and Keble College, Oxford, the son of William Henry Belcher, a Newbury solicitor and his wife, Mary.

[4] His early career was spent with the Bush Brotherhood in Australia.

[6] After this he was Rector of Diss and Assistant Bishop of Norwich, then Vicar of York cum Ravensworth in Natal.
