William F. Woodington

William Frederick Woodington ARA (10 February 1806 – 24 December 1893) was an English painter and sculptor.

Woodington was born in Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire (possibly at the Three Tuns in High Street), and was articled at the age of 12 to an engraver Robert William Sievier (1794–1865).

[2] Woodington died at Brixton Hill aged 87 in 1893 and was buried at West Norwood.

They worked together on the bronze panel of Battle of the Nile and plinth of Nelson's Column.
