William Martin (swimmer)

William Michael Martin, OAM (born 22 November 2000) is an Australian Paralympic swimmer.

He has been in a relationship with fellow Australian Paralympic swimmer Lakeisha Patterson since January 2023.

[2] Martin broke his own world record with a time of 57.73 in the Men's 100m butterfly (S9) at the 2021 Australian Swimming Trials.

Martin won gold in the Men's 4×100 m freestyle 34 pts, along with Rowan Crothers, Matt Levy and Ben Popham, breaking the current World Record by almost 2 seconds.

[5] His team won the silver medal in a time of 4:07.70, just over a second behind the winners, RPC, who set a new world record.
