Women's Boat Race 2011

Oxford won by one length in a time of 6 minutes 24 seconds, their fourth consecutive win.

[1] It was conducted as part of the Henley Boat Races, on the traditional straight course at Henley-on-Thames.

[1] The race was sponsored by Newton Investment Management, a subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon, for the first time.

Oxford's trial boats raced along the Adelaide Straight in Ely and were named Keep Calm and Carry On.

[7] The winners' shield was presented by Olympic bronze medallist and former Cambridge college rower Anna Watkins.
