The show follows Bluey, an anthropomorphic six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who is characterised by her abundance of energy, imagination and curiosity about the world.
[1] The young dog lives with her father, Bandit; mother, Chilli; and younger sister, Bingo, who regularly joins Bluey on adventures as the pair embark on imaginative play together.

[24] Bluey struggles to adjust to the impending sale of their house and moving to another city due to Bandit's new job.
While the Heelers prepare their backyard for Uncle Rad and Frisky's wedding, Frisky overhears Rad's plans to move away and flees, so Chilli drives Bluey, Bingo, Muffin and Socks to find her and return her to the house in time for the wedding.
