Wramplingham is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk.
For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of South Norfolk.
[citation needed] The village name means "Homestead/village" or "hemmed-in land", with an obscure first element that is possibly a folk-name or place-name.
[3] Bill Bryson (born 1951), a British-American writer who gained immense popularity, lived in Wramplingham at the Old Rectory between 2003 and 2013.
