Yū Yū Hakusho[a] is a 1994 fighting video game developed and published by Tomy for the 3DO platform, based on the YuYu Hakusho anime.
[2][3][4][5] The player can choose from 15 characters, each of which has their own special and hyper moves.
[6] Next Generation gave the game one star out of five, criticizing gameplay and the special moves, who called them simple to execute, but in essence boring through the game.
[7] In contrast, Nick Rox of GameFan was highly positive to the game, praising the Art Gallery, the graphics and music, and concluding that Yū Yū Hakusho is an "excellent, well-rounded fighting game".
[6] Spanish magazine GamesTech commended its animated cutscenes and visuals.
