Yanouh (Arabic: يانوح) is a municipality in Tyre District, Governorate of South Lebanon.
According to E. H. Palmer in 1881, the name Yânûh is one of two possible "Yanoah of the Bible".
[2][3] In 1881, the PEF's Survey of Western Palestine (SWP) described Yanuh: "A village built of stone, containing 150 Metawileh, on a hill-top, surrounded by figs, olives, and pomegranates, and arable land.
"[4][5] In 2014, Muslims made up 99.28% of registered voters in Yanouh.
98.66% of the voters were Shiite Muslims.
