Yao Station (八尾駅, Yao-eki) is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Yao, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).
Yao Station is served by the Kansai Main Line (Yamatoji Line), and is located 163.1 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Nagoya Station and 42.2 kilometers from Kamo.
The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.
With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR West.
