Yasir secure the only goal in the match which guaranteed Tampines Rovers to qualified to the Round of 16 as group runners-ups.
[4] On 9 June 2017, Yasir joined national teammate Safuwan Baharudin at Malaysian second-tier side PDRM for the remainder of the Malaysia Premier League season.

However due to the injury list in the squad depth, Yasir signed a one year contract extensions on 25 April 2024.
He came off the bench to score the winner against Cambodia national football team, giving Singapore a narrow 1–0 win over the regional minnows.
