Yeafesh Osman (born 1 May 1946)[1] is a Bangladeshi architect and politician and the former Minister of Science and Technology[2] of Government of Bangladesh since 2015.
[3][4] He worked under Fazlur Rahman Khan, the notable architect of Sears Tower.
[1] Osman was elected as the vice president of the Engineering University Central Students' Union in 1970.
Osman was a freedom fighter who fought in sector 2 during the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971.
During his professional practice, worked as the managing director of Prakalpa Upadeshta Ltd, an architecture and engineering consultancy firm.
