It was released in March 1990 as the first single from Sabrina's third album Over the Pop.

Similar to follow-up single; "Gringo", "Yeah Yeah", is also an upbeat dance-pop track, once again written and produced by Sabrina herself and Elvio Moratto.

Lyric-wise, the song's concerns are the joys of a nice and healthy environment.

In late 1990/early 1991, the Italian dance-label Discomagic released four remixes of "Yeah Yeah", on both a standard and a picture-disc 12-inch.
