The Yellowknife City Council is the governing body of the city of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.
The council consists of a mayor and eight councillors originally elected to three year terms, but after a referendum in 2018 this has now been changed to four year terms.
[1] The current mayor of Yellowknife is Rebecca Alty.
[2] In the 2018 election, voters chose to extend the term of office from three to four years.
