Yerson Opazo

[2] After one semester without football activity, Opazo was signed by Deportes La Serena, club in where completed a good season in the Clausura 2005 tournament.

He completed a good season at Serena, playing all games of his club and contributing much at the scheme of the coach Víctor Hugo Castañeda.

In 2012, Opazo was runner-up with O'Higgins, after lose the final against Universidad de Chile in the penalty shoot-out, and he was selected as the best right back of the tournament and the year.

[4] He participated with the club in the 2014 Copa Libertadores where they faced Deportivo Cali, Cerro Porteño and Lanús, being third and being eliminated in the group stage.

[6] In June 2024, Opazo played for club Vicente Pérez Rosales from Puerto Montt at the Copa Chile in the 0–3 loss against Universidad de Concepción.
