Yoshiko Sakurai

Yoshiko Sakurai (櫻井 よしこ, Sakurai Yoshiko, born 10 October 1945, Hanoi, French Indochina) is a Japanese journalist, TV presenter, writer, and political activist.

After returning with her family to Japan, she graduated from Nagaoka High School.

Sakurai started her career as a journalist for the Christian Science Monitor in Tokyo.

Affiliated with the openly revisionist lobby Nippon Kaigi,[2] Sakurai denies sexual slavery by the Japanese imperial military during World War II (i.e. "comfort women").
