You're the Greatest LUVer

As the female pop trio dominated the charts in a large part of Continental Europe in the late 1970s, Germany was Luv's biggest export market.

They had eight entries on the German singles charts:[1][2] "You're the Greatest Lover" (a #1 hit that reached the gold status as it sold 600.000 units in Germany alone), "Trojan Horse" ( a Top 3 song), "Casanova" (a Top 10 single), "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe", "Ooh, Yes I Do", "Ann-Maria", "One More Little Kissie" and "My Number One".

Luv' was a household name thanks to their performances on German TV shows such as Starparade, Tanzparty, Musikladen and Disco.

[5] Moreover, Luv' played a cameo role in the 1979 movie Cola, Candy, Chocolate in which they performed "Trojan Horse".

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the trio success in Goethe's country, Mercury Records decided to release the compilation You're the Greatest LUVer.
