Mamo pursued higher education at Jahangirnagar University, where she completed both her bachelor's and master's degrees in drama and dramatics.
Mamo made her acting debut in the 2007 film Daruchini Dip, where her performance was widely praised.
After a long break from cinema, she returned in 2014 with the film Prem Korbo Tomar Sathe.
