Zenon Mróz

He joined the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 1956.

Between 1959 and 1960, he was a post-doctoral research fellow at Brown University where he collaborated with William Prager.

He obtained his habilitation in 1964 for research on constitutive models of plastic deformation.

[1] In 2001, he became a recipient of the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.

[4] In 2004, he was awarded the Koiter Medal of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers "for significant contributions to elastic/plastic material behavior modeling, to tribology, and to optimization".
