Zgornja Rečica (pronounced [ˈzɡoːɾnja ɾɛˈtʃiːtsa]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Laško in eastern Slovenia.
It lies in the upper valley of a minor right bank tributary of the Savinja River in the hills northeast of Laško.
It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Savinja Statistical Region.
[3] The local church, built on a slight elevation in the centre of the settlement, is dedicated to the Blessed Anton Martin Slomšek and belongs to the Parish of Laško.
