Zieria furfuracea

C.Moore & Betche Zieria furfuracea is a plant in the citrus family Rutaceae and is endemic to eastern Australia.

Zieria furfuracea is a shrub which grows to a height of between 1 and 3 m (3 and 10 ft) with warty branches that covered with soft hairs when young.

Flowering occurs in spring and summer and is followed by fruits which are smooth follicles covered with soft hairs.

[1][3] The specific epithet (furfuracea) is derived from the Latin word furfur meaning "bran", "scurf", "scale", or "dandruff".

[5] Three subspecies have been described: This zieria occurs in Queensland, New South Wales north of Wyong, growing in forest and rainforest, sometimes on exposed rocky escarpments.
