Znojile pri Studencu (pronounced [znɔˈjiːlɛ pɾi stuˈdɛːntsu]) is a small settlement in the hills west of Studenec in the Municipality of Sevnica in east-central Slovenia.
The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.
[3] Znojile was attested in written sources in 1364 as Znogl (and as Snoil in 1423).
The name is derived from *znoji(d)lo 'sunny or sun-facing area' from the verb *znojiti 'to be warmed by the sun'.
