Zookeeper (Samuel Register) is a character appearing in DC Comics, primarily as an enemy of the Teen Titans.

Zookeeper first appeared in Teen Titans #13-15 (Sep. - Nov. 2004) and was created by Geoff Johns and Tom Grummett.

[2] In the "Beast Boys and Girls" storyline, Register steals a sample of the Sakutia virus, infecting himself and thousands of children and gaining shapeshifting abilities.

However, Beast Boy subdues Register by transforming into a Sydney funnel-web spider, after which he is imprisoned in Alcatraz and his blood is used to cure the children.

[2][3] Zookeeper later joins Alexander Luthor Jr.'s Secret Society of Super Villains and Superboy-Prime's Legion of Doom.
