Álvaro Salas Sánchez

Álvaro Salas Sánchez OSA (died c. 1520) was a Spanish prelate of the Catholic Church who serve as a titular bishop of Duvno from 1514 to his death in 1520.

Before his episcopal appointment, Salas was a theology professor and an Augustinian friar.

Pope Leo X appointed him the bishop of Duvno on 27 July 1514.

During his episcopal tenure, the territory of the diocese of Duvno was under the Ottoman occupation, while the nearby Dalmatian region in southern Croatia was under Ottoman attacks.

[1] Salas' episcopal appointment is seen by Ante Škegro as a part of Pope Leo's X anti-Ottoman policy.
